Our commune, even if it is small has got several shops, one supermarket and one mini-market, two bakeries, a flower shop, a shop, which sells alarms, a post, a police station, a shop, selling agricultural products but also material for gardening.

And this last business whose name is Pringault would be also interested in having a twinning with Ploeuc sur Lié because it will permit to sell its products abroad but also to discover other types of machines and to make business between the two cities.

The company already has a partnership with a city in the South of France. It is a success, the two industries can share their experiences and develop themselves together. But the "international aspect" is not present and it is regretable. That's why, having relationships with a foreign countrie would be very interesting.

We have also two primary schools and two colleges.

And it would be with pleasure that these schools would have relationships with another city and in particular with a foreign school. It is the pupils, who wanted to have foreign correspondents. Teachers were of course all course all right. They would have the capacity of creating projects by promoting first of all languages and then by working for example on the different cultures. Pupils could correspond together through letters, e-mails, forum, video...

Some themes like : cooperation, racism, solidarity, Human rights, sustainable development, devlopment issues, citizenship... would be able to be tackled through games, meetings...
